Any way to test this filtering mode?

I got a motherboard with an Intel Extreme Graphics 2, and according to the caps, it supports D3DPTFILTERCAPS_MINFGAUSSIANQUAD and D3DPTFILTERCAPS_MAGFGAUSSIANQUAD. I haven't seen any other card that supports gaussian quad filtering. Is there any convenient way to check this claim and see what it does to image quality?
