I'd love links to the ruliweb trailers!! Gamespot has an mpeg trailer of XenoIII and IGN, I think, had a really junky one as well. I think it was just a cut up version of the Gamespot one.
Other than that, there was the 2 or 3 pages in FAMItsu and some talk of the Seiyuus involved, otherwise nothing I'm aware of.

The Xenosaga series makes me angry. I'm mad that the actual series will not be realised and that its ending at III. Damn over ambitious game creators. Friggen caught and reeled me in a Xenogears and i've been following ever since.
Don't be too angry about the series ending. I'd more hate to see it continue without the lead designer and story writer being present. If I recall correctly Tetsuya Takahashi has already left the project.

I was under the impression that the current story arch would end with XenoIII, not the entire series. Meaning Xeno4 would pick up with, say, Fei and Ellie in their past lives or something. And would simply go from there.

About all I can tell is that Namco removed them (Tetsuya Takahashi and Soraya Saga) from the Xenosaga project. Why? No one knows for sure. Saga removed information from her website do to her fear of backlash from Monolith soft and Namco so imagine the terms under which they were removed weren't friendly. I'd hate to imagine that Saga was removed do to being Takahashi's wife.
Legion, did you ever come across the sheet of cut plot elements from Xenosaga II? It's horrific; they basically removed 80% of the storyline.Legion said:

This pissed me off. I suppose they needed a way to demonize him so why not make him into a beater of harmless women? I can understand removing portions of Saga's story to be used at a later date, but rewritting them? That's unacceptable. The series is lacking in plot development now. IMHO this is hardly the series' only problem: they lack a developed battle system (seen in xenogears) and proper usuage of mechs in combat.

I agree. Once you play Xenogears, you will see why people were dying for a prequel, and why they were so disappointed with the Xenosaga games.
