Then I can wait an other extra year for my PS3. ;)

notice the aliasing ?

I don't, but i believe it's just an usual AAed real time shot, since the complexity of the scene is not really CGI material. At all. That is, if you really look at the picture.

Arrgh the nuclear reactor in my computer is melting down :[

I knew I should have gone with a coal powered computer.

I usually hate flight sims, but this looks pretty interesting. Some of the pics probably looks noticeably better from the fact they're pretty dark, and that tends to hide imperfections...

The airfield on an island pic is easier to judge since it's brighter, but on the other hand it has that annoying "crappy-flat-textured-polygon-trees" syndrome so many sims suffer from. Somehow trees always seem to turn out bad, you can tell they're just flat green-colored blobs on the ground, even from high up like in that pic and it's distracting as hell. At least to me.

Hmm not impressed. To me this is less impressive then the ms car demo.

There is 1 - 2 planes on the screen and hardly anything else on the screen .

Yes the plane looks good but not really a game i'd pick to show off next gen games.

I'd love to see what a game like gta 3 would look like on this system. Such a huge open area with tons of things going on will really show us what to expect.

Um, I don't know if you're trying to be funny here lol, but it's a PS2 game, not a next-gen game.

Makes it even more impressive!

Very nice looking, indeed. It's rare to find a team that knows how to blend good programming and good art direction.

Some more screens:

Nice screens. I do notice a bit of aliasing but come on, quit complaining. The paint jobs on the jets are dead on and the SuperHornet looks real nice; they actually modeled the EA-18G Growler, I’m impressed. I wish they would make use of all weapons stores on each jet though. I mean why am I only able to load my F/A-18E with only 2 different kinds of weapons when it has 11 hardpoints? Also they need to improve on the combat situations. Why in the world is a T-1 that looks to be flying CAP with Aim-9s? You don’t CAP with trainer jets, you don’t put trainer jets in combat, and you don’t go perform cap with just sidewinders what happens if someone with a Slammer or archer comes along? Are you going to ask him to hold his fire until he gets within range of your winders to be fair?... I know this is an arcade sim though... maybe I’m being too hard on it...
