3D Driver and API Support for the N800

I'm considering a Nokia N800.

Is the graphics core in the device enabled?

Would it be accessible under the open platform development? Will Nokia support the graphics functionality by updating the drivers as needed? Will the APIs be implemented as nicely for it and its Linux as the Java and OpenGL ES are for Nokia's Symbian phones?

Would Nokia even consider enabling their next generation gaming platform on the device? If they wouldn't, would they then let all of the vendor specific OpenGL ES extensions in the API be enabled?

Would Imgtec support the open platform development of the N800 with specific content/demos like they have with the Axim? Would PowerVR MGL be used on the device?

Which retailers beside CompUSA and Nokia themselves are selling the N800?

The only other places that sell them that I've found are J&R Music, TigerDirect, Mobilecity Online and Amazon.

Several options to buy from, then. Thanks.

The CompUSA out here had a unit, but their employees were completely unaware of the device and had it locked up in a storage room. They had no intention of ever displaying it or trying to sell it, and they would only let me see it sealed away in its box. They don't even sell the internet tablet category of device anywhere in the store, and I wouldn't be suprised if most US locations were the same. Europe may offer a viable market for such a product, but I doubt the US will even give it a chance despite being a target market officially.

Upon looking into the hobbyist development community for the N800, reports are that no drivers for the graphics processor are available.
