47!

He doesn't look too happy...

Anyway I can't wait to see what VF5 will look like on next generation consoles. 8)

Though it doesn't scream "next-gen" out loud, DOA4 should be a good indication of what a next-gen 3D fighting game could look like, and more. If only Sega would release their demo on high-res glory (I couldn't tell from that cam phone). I'm more excited to see what the next Shenmue world would look like. And I actually thought Yu Suzuki was already pushing 50s. :D

Shenmue would look damn amazing on nextgen consoles, considering that game engine was doing so many things not just graphics with only DC's 16MB of RAM.

What is he up to anyway ? He isn't with AM2 anymore last I heard. But Sega seems to restructure themself every year so I lost track on what he is doing.

Does he have an online blog ?

Oh yeah whatever happend to Shenmue Online, is it out yet ? I heard its actually going to be part of the story arc. So it is kinda like Shenmue 3 sort of. And not playing as Ryo is a plus IMO :D

Yeah, but it wasn't doing them all well, shenmue was one of the few dreamcast games I'd say needed a more powerful system from the way it was designed and ran.

Yu's supposed to run Digital Rex, now New Entertainment Division #2 if I recall correctly. Shenmue Online is being developed mostly by the Korean partner JC Entertainment, only a handfull of Sega staff is working on the project, mainly for directing purposes.

Shenmue III might or might not be alive.
