My topic about threads being locked was locked? So where am I meant to put this thread?

It's ridiculous, why would you lock a topic with just SCREENSHOTS of a Gamecube emulator? Why would you lock threads just because you think people are getting a little too excited - that's what makes a forum a forum.

It's like a censorship state here atm, and I for one really dislike it. I much preferred how things used to be around here before jvd was made a mod. Sorry jvd if you don't like me saying this, but that's freedom of speech for ya - how would you like it if I had mod powers and started locking your threads because I don't like what you're saying?

On my board I've never ever locked a thread. I've had to delete a few posts, but they were way inappropriate (gay porn anyone on a forum people browse from work anyone? Or perhaps some jew-bashing?). Locking a thread because a couple of fanboys are duking it out is moronic, I enjoy reading this threads. I've participated in a few in my time as well, and it's been interesting and fun. So how about instead of locking this topic, you discuss the issue?

Perhaps the threads locked thread was locked because it had nothing to do with consoles.
Freedom of speech doesn't really fly on a privately operated forum to the best of my knowledge.

Perhaps if it could be proven that beyond3d is a government institution, and that flames give a forum character.

It is illegal to post emulators. So i locked the thread so the site owners would not get in trouble. This is being locked to. Site feed back is where a thread like this is meant to be.
