Just to keep this on-topic a bit; I took the handle "digitalwanderer" on Slashdot first I think many, many moons ago. I think I came up with it because a friend of mine in real-life was using the handle "Seeker" and I wanted something somewhat esoteric but easily remembered.
It stuck.

I used to go by Mjolnir or Ahriman quite a bit, but decided using my real name was more mature.

I got mine one day while having a lan party with the in-laws. I was doing fairly well and my father-in-law commented that the grin on my face made me look like a seriel killer or something. So since my real name's Chris, my ingame nick became Killer-Kris and it's just kind of stuck with me.
Because it bugs fundamentalist christians.. lol (notice how the word mental fits in there..)

Well, boring story... Since 50% of all swedish males have the same first name as me, I thought when gaming on the C64 in the good ol' 80's it'd be cool to just change one letter to a more potent 'Magnum' to put in the highscore lists... Then I found out about the camp-ish heavy metal band by the same name so that went right out the window, LOL!
But hey, Magnum P.I. was a pretty good show... Kept it since for simplicity even if it's a bit corny nowadays. Shortened it because someone stole it when the site migrated.
