Xbox 360 's alpha kit CPU comparison with Xeon and Opteron

one G5 core has much more performance than one PPE core used in Whitenoose .

 

The Alpha Kits were clocked at a crappy 2.0 ghz.

 

Texture data generally consumes much less bandwidth than pixel data does; I'd very much doubt that you'll see texture loads of 17GB/s!
