Xbox 2 and PlayStation 3: A sneak peek

Yo, it's 9:30 am (PST) Wednesday at E3 that the details should begin appear.
I got my E3 pamplet 2 weeks ago. (Won't be able to go. )

This is from memory but I think it was track 2; session one.

Even if they don't display the hardware this session is supposed ot cover and demonstrate aspects of graphical performance for next generation consoles.

With luck I'll find my program.

Here we go.
I wanted to get the details right because Vince might become upset if I were sloppy. ;)

I went to the website and got the correct track session number = 2.2
Here is the quote and link.

2.2 - Inside the Next-Generation Game Machines Wednesday, May 12, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM Room 406AB

The movie-like graphics, the smooth movements of a game’s lead character, the level of detail in the game’s environments, the vibrant colors and subtle shadows, even the rich and absorbing audio tracks all flow from the combined power of a console’s graphics and processing chips. The current generation consoles and PC have already moved the technology of games substantially ahead of the previous generation’s. As one generation comes to a close, questions about the beginning of the next generation of consoles and PC becomes more compelling. This session will assemble the chip-makers and technology providers who have major roles in the development of the game industry’s next generation consoles and ask them to explain their technologies and discuss how the next generation consoles and PCs will differ from today’s. Learn and understand the capabilities of the machines that will lead the next wave of interactive entertainment.
