probably they found a way of streaming them of the disc like with the xbox1

And the proof? This is like the 3rd time someone has posted p1r4te x360 filenames, that so far have turned out to be fake.

In any case, there won't be a way to run them anytime soon...

dumping the games means nothing. gamecube games were dumped a few years ago and it took ages before anyone could do anything with them.

Only because no one bought broadband adapters :p

Dumping means zip. Just cause you can copy the files off the disc doesn't mean you can get them to play on anything.

Some people simply like to trumpet out what they've done to make people think they actually achieved something...

lol I was wondering the same thing :p

Condemned is apparently 7300MB, but it's suspected that there's a lot of "fill-in" stuff there, not really part of the game.

this is a major step 1!

Apperently this is legit. I don't want to post a link, but the extraction utility (w/ source code) has been released.

How is that a major step? You put them in a dvd drive and read them bit per bit (as in sector by sector). Then you write a small app to separate the meaningfull bits from the filler stuff if MS even uses a proprietory file system (which should not be too hard when you have got like 20 different games to cross validate). Wake us when they crack the 360's copy protection.

good luck putting an original xbox dvd into your pc and backing it up and better
you can also backup a dreamcast cd then??

In 4 years no-one has ever managed to write a correct driver for reading XBOX1 games on a PC.

Feel free to throw your hat in the ring!
