Wireless networking card advice

This may be perhaps the stupidest question any of you have ever read, but I need help deciding what type of networking card I need to buy. I'm about to move to a location, temporarily, that requires me to connect to a wireless connection. Up until now I've always been adamant about keeping everything hardwired, but now I don't have a choice. I need some suggestions for a good wireless adapter. When it comes to networking, I'm an absolute dunce, which is a little embarrassing. Also if someone could point me in the direction of a good walkthrough for when I set it up, that too would be marvelous.

I'm new to adding a PC wireless NIC, but I just picked up this one yesterday from Newegg and am hoping it's decent.

I'll let ya know how the set-up/install goes on Monday when it gets here.
