Didnt see a topic about this game yet. Its supposed to come out in November.
They want to take all the power from the ps3 and I also read they said they wanted to make Ferrari challenge the GT for wii. How much of that will be true, I dont know but I certainly hope that the Wii version turns out very good as I think the ps3 is still to expensive and I rather have GT5 and the Wii isnt likely to have much GT style games.
I only found one small trailer on youtube (http://youtube.com/watch?v=ROeJb56pTPo). I think its from the ps3 version though I dont think it looks that good. Hopefully they put some effort in the Wii engine, a game like this needs good gfx I think. Maybe the trailer could be Wii'ish? if you look at how gt4 looks on ps2 and Wii being quite a bit more capable something like that should be possible?
Anyway, im a Ferrari fanboy so they just have to make it a good game Hopefully they also put in all the Ferrari's and not only the ones that drive in the Ferrari race series.
Tuesday 14th August/…System 3 has announced that it will be unveiling Ferrari Challenge to the world at the Leipzig Games Convention. A press conference will be taking place on Thursday 23rd August at 15:00, this will be the first time anybody has seen a playable version of the officially licensed racing simulation, which draws upon close ties to Ferrari, the input of professional racing drivers and the expertise of award-winning racing game development specialists Eutechnyx to produce the definitive Ferrari experience.
Due to be released for a range of formats on November 23 2007, attendees can expect to see Ferrari Challenge running on the PlayStation 3, the Nintendo Wii and DS during the global premiere. The PlayStation 3 version will be the technical showcase, pushing the eminently powerful PS3 architecture to the maximum possible limit, while the Wii version will feature the most accurate motion-sensing steering yet seen on the revolutionary console.
Mark Cale, CEO, System 3 said: “Leipzig is the ideal stage for us to reveal our labour of love to the world. It’s no secret that I’ve been a Ferrari fan for many years and Ferrari Challenge represents the coming together of my two most enduring passions – Ferrari racing and video games. We’re sparing no expense to insure Ferrari Challenge will be the definitive Ferrari experience and now is the time to show the press how far we’ve come.â€
