User Created Mods In Unreal Tournament III (360)

Well, given you can just plug in a keyboard/mouse, it should be no problem doing scripting, level editing and the usual modding stuff, so long as you have a proper HD screen. I can see this working nicely.

Maybe they can integrate this with XNA to further streamline mod development.

I guess there might be regulatory problems if MS allows for free exchange of points - they will turn into a "bank" issuing a "currency", and the government will suddenly jump on them.

One of you is talking about getting point, the other one about changing points into money?

Is this really that hard to figure out?

People buy MS points. Each MS point is worth X amount of USD.
People spend MS points ( X amount of USD) on DLC.
DLC creator gets percentage of cut, in USD.

Easy

 If you could sell mods then why buy a UE license? You could save all that outlay for the small inconvenience of your customers having to own a particular game already. I don't think the engine makers would be particularly keen on it.

It would be akin to people just letting anyone sell an expansion to their game, using the tech they made. Not going to happen.

(Wish I could edit posts  )
