Theater mode + Vista

last Night I was trying to enable it - unsuccessfully
Vista ultimate + 3670
There were options for clone or extend desktop. on next "tab" to use full-screen TMode or not, but no matter the combination i tried it just never kicked in.
tried with WMP, MPClassic, MPCHomeCinema ...
Weird that just week ago i enabled it flawlessly on similar machine but with 2400Pro + catalyst 8.10 or so, on this machine its 8.12

Any suggestions?

maybe it only works with certain renderers, like overlay?

try forcing MPC output to different renderers

Do you have Hydravision installed? I thought that was the only way to enable it?
