Famitsu did a little TGS summary. They counted the number of titles per platform.

Flippin heck... That's a lot of games for PS2, but afterall it still has some time left till PS3 establishes itself...

Sony Entertainment is holding a show at the TGS 2006 on Sept. 22nd starting 10 a.m, called "PS3, the creation of next-gen entertainment". Speaker: Ken Kutaragi. He's supposed to give an outlook on the future of entertainment.

Hmm. Prime Sense is in the Hall 2.
According to the list (as of Sep 14) at the TGS website they are the sole exhibitor at the "International Meeting Booth" so they might do their own technology showcase.

As I wrote in another thread SCEI's Masaaki OKA once submitted a similar patent app ("Image generating method utilizing on-the-spot photograph and shape data", US patent app 20040223190) but it's not granted. If Prime Sense have a patent on this technology in their portfolio, it's possible they license it to Sony or other companies.

that's too bad, my humour is not known for its subtleties / finesse. Nope, that's all titles present. But X360 has indeed some head start in this gen.
