From very reliable Chinese source here: R600XTX's core speed is far beyond 700MHz, R600XTX is a heavyweight player, its weight is 1.xx kilogram. R600XTX chip's yield（At TSMC）is horrendous high (at the speed far beyond 700MHz), the yield rate is close to 100%. The Package weight of R600XTX OEM version exceeds 11 kilogram. The present fx57 score is not true.

how can r600 manage the 'soft crossfire' ? by the northbridge that likes rv530 did ? its amazing...

who said the XT was going to have 1gig? I always thought it was the xtx which BTW does have a 1gig version listed.

Actully, I think those 128 shaders are scaler.

Now wouldn't that be boring. ATI copying NVIDIA? Seems pretty unlikely to me.

Again, maybe that 8 pin power connector is backwards with a 6 pin cord and that 8 pin connector is there for people that have 8 pin supported PSU's.

Even if it is, 2x6pin + pcieslot = max 225W
