The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remaster (UE5) (consoles, PC).

hope the new version adds it natively. I've seen some colleagues play Elden Ring in co-op mode, 6 players! Using a mod I mentioned in the local co-op thread of this subforum

Yeah, even super basic coop like only the "main save" progresses while the "guest" didn't is already much better than none

If it's a real coop, then truly amazing.
Thought you'd find this interesting
Publisher CI Games and developer Hexworks have released the version 2.0 update for Lords of the Fallen, which adds shared progression cross-play cooperative play, a free Friend’s Pass, revamped combat and movement, and more. Lords of the Fallen is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

If they made Oblivion Remake in UE5, that would be the death knell for Creation Engine IMO.

It was never impossible, though, I suspect it would take a long time to do. It would be a massive commitment to pull off.
Curious to see if this causes them to have a permanent branch, a bit like how star citizen is a separate branch from cryengine now. There’s no rejoining

If it's just a graphics layer it could still run Creation Engine under the hood. Ninja Gaiden 2 works that way.

Even if it's more of a remake than some graphics slapped on to the old game, it doesn't mean anything for ES6. The ES6 team will use whatever production pipeline makes sense to them. To date, that's been updating the Creation Engine.
