The Darkness?

I really wish this would come to PC, that way I'd have a real reason to purchase it. But even if it doesn't, I'll buy it. Simply because Mike Patton is doing the voice work for "The Darkness" character and therefore the game is automagically amazing because of this.

Mike Patton is my God.

I've got to keep up with my console game quota in order to meet the requirements for having purchased a 360.

Be sure to check out these as well:

The framerate's a heck of a lot better now. :) Those shoulder creatures seem quite catered to the bumpers on the 360 pad.

So maybe someone can explain to me why those creatures keep eating people's hearts and sometimes heads?

Because they taste pretty good and the owners strength and power will turn into yours.
At least that`s my personal experience on that subject :devilish:

New video called "Bloody Executions" has been posted on GT. The levels of violence in this game are insane.....

It looks a little TOO satisfying kicking people over and shooting them square in the noodle.

This game has a very cool style and (from the videos) looks fun to play. We should be seeing reviews within the next couple of weeks.

its stylized thats for sure, but i dont see actual gunshot wound result (think hl2) so i wouldnt call it "insane". Certainly doesnt have the same brutality as Solider of Fortune or Quake.

Any other games besides SOF2 that let you cut your victim into pieces? I want that again.

Not an FPS, but Blood Rayne 1&2 had some rather neat slicing action. I don't know if it's as detailed or as specific as SOF2, but you can do some pretty wild cuts with your blade weapons.

Yeh that sort of bugs me. There are no damage zones on the models. It may sound sick, but I actually like to see the damage done when I hit someone in an FPS. Safe from going all Babcat on everyone and scaring the living shit out of people, I'll leave it at it saying it's not a total waste, when you see "devour heart" performed theres a nice sized hole left.

X360 MP game play vid... looks very nice and fast/furious with unique game play. Appears to be anti-aliased and have good textures (for a console!) even when pausing the vid in some spots. Lighting is also nice with motion blur and particle effects.

might have a new surprise MP game for the summer until CoD 4 and Halo 3 come out. :D

Game Crazy just told me they will have it next Friday June 29th for X360.

Any word on which is the version to get for cross console owners (seems like the only available review doesnt even differentiate and is one review for both systems)??

I just saw an effect I've personally never seen before in a video game.
In the HD multiplayer video the guy is firing off what looks to be an M16 and as he's backing up you can see the smoke trail from the tip of the barrell . Very neat and super realistic looking. It's at about 2/3 of the way through the guy is backng up down a set of stairs in a room that has a distinct blu/grey tint to it.

I noticed the exact same thing the first time I saw that video!:D Looks terrific, and the game seems to be moving a lot faster in the finished build than earlier.
