I don't know if it's hilarious or sad that there's still people believing him.

I know the blurring for 16x Anti-Aliasing would be horrific

Huh???

I have chosen to NOT be a another BitBoys

Chosen not to be a real engineer?

And also, how one ('I' in quote ) could be many (Bitboys in quote.)? ;)

Come on x3dfx isn't that bad.... it's far worse than you could ever imagine :)

I should know, i visit there everyday... of course only a mission of enlightenment attempting to make sure that the people there don't get things too wrong... :)

Why do I bother.... hell if i know, i'm just bored :)

OMG...That was the funniest thing I have seen since...Remember that one image of the V5-6000? The one with the portable generator plugged in?

Well...It was pretty funny. If I remember correctly, there was a vacuum-like hose going from the generator into the side of the V5-6000...And it might have had a little glow around it.

The image was really professional looking...not really sure who did it though.

If somebody has it, or has a link to it...

I saved a couple of the leaked chip images...

Seriously...This thing is going to end up clobbering the R300/Parhelia/NV30.

"a short article on Xabregamers, which is pretty much a summary of the information posted on x3dfx (again, ...). "

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but there are stuff on that article I couldn't find on x3dfx, like the Russian Tu-95 Bear Bomber or even the design of the board. Am I wrong, did I miss those parts and need to get new glasses or were there really new stuff in that article?

AFAIK the article contains some new information/clarifications but for the most part its is the same as the info that has already been posted on x3dfx.

I had quoted some email I received from the Chief Designer...I had stated in the quote that I probably shouldn't do it...After a few minutes, I decided against it. Quoting emails in a public forum is a bad thing, unless it's understood by both people that the material exchanged in the email is for public viewing.

Anyhow, he has made posts on other forums that pretty much mimick what he stated in the email...Go to www.x3dfx.com and read em' there.

Check out this quote. I was rolling on the floor:

The pictures did greatly upset me, but I tried to cope with it, and I tend to have a short temper. Yes, I have over-reacted I know.
The true childish thing was what happened with the pictures. Someone being childish enough to play those games. My attitude toward the pictures proves nothing except I do not like childish things by people who should have more respect for someone than that.
As for saying coming here was a mistake, that was an over-reaction due to my anger. For the majority of the time I have liked to come here, read your comments, and answer the questions best I can.
As for secret mode, yeah that we're already going into. No more info for a while. If any of you want to e-mail about a subject on our company, or our project you may, and I will answer it best I can. When we are further into the project I will post more, but not until then. Thank-You

Uh-oh, they are going into "secret mode"

Not to add any credit but....

Don't go too overboard with this as I don't really believe it. But as a EE designer for over 5 years I have myself used MS Paint only to provide about a 4 minute mark up of a PDF schematic to a designer. I highlighted some runners that I wanted to move and at that time we I did not have the proper tools (in that Case Mentor) loaded on MY pc. And it was a rush job. The PCB was located at a different site. It was a cut and past and quick change type of thing. Yes not even in the same boat. But don't forget these Chip designer software packages cost a lot of money. Very hard to get that kind of cash with out major backing...

Again maybe some of this stuff was just protyping of the idea? If I want to show someone a new design I may not take the time to do a full detail schematic, just a quick 10 minute job in Visio or something just to illustrate the point...

Once again very unlikely but not becase they used MSPaint.

Hehe well actually I used xfig to design a MIPS processor ;) But that chip was lightyears slower than chips like P4 and Athlon.

It had a CPI of about 1.5 and ran at 600Mhz if I recall correctly.
