Nintendo, historically, doesn't tend to use AA regardless of the power on tapThe AI TOPS seems to be about 15 TOPS or so.
Is it the reason Mario Kart doesn’t use DLSS?
Since it is a 60 fps racing game, DLSS is too costly
for the weak AI TOPS.

Switch 2 has over 100+ TOPS from what I've seen. The AI TOPS seems to be about 15 TOPS or so.

I'd think they're just already hitting the graphics level, resolution and performance they're happy with for Mario Kart. These games dont need to be pushing any technical envelopes and I'd be surprised if Nintendo is overly concerned with pushing >1080p resolutions. The AI TOPS seems to be about 15 TOPS or so.

Indeed. But they do use upscaling when needeed (be it FSR or other more simple reconstruction methods like they did with Odyssey in portable).Nintendo, historically, doesn't tend to use AA regardless of the power on tap
What else was it run on then, smart refrigerator? Why even bring that Mario kart footage into any discussion when there isn't even any indication it was taken from a game running real time on switch 2 hardware?
Not sure what you're suggesting here. The game was pre-renderer and isn't representative, or Nintendo chose a game running on inferior hardware to showcase their new platform, like revealing the GBA showing GB Color graphics? Why even bring that Mario kart footage into any discussion when there isn't even any indication it was taken from a game running real time on switch 2 hardware?
3060 has 100 TOPS. Switch 2 has way less TOPS.Switch 2 has over 100+ TOPS from what I've seen.
Oh yeah you're right. 2050 with 64 Tensor cores has 20 TOPS. The Switch 2 with 48 cores will be less.3060 has 100 TOPS. Switch 2 has way less TOPS.
Digital Foundry thinks Switch 2 may be hard to use DLSS for 4K.
This demo is way too limited to understand if the technology is good or not. Let's see how it works it actual games.View attachment 13106
Wow I think Nueral Texuture Compression "on load" could be a game changer for Switch 2 games. Textures are essentially 15% of the size of even BCn compressed textures! With the same quality! Initial loads may be longer but should really help with game cart sizes and even the limited onboard and SD card storage.
