If Batman really existed, I think he would take out the current US government.

What does that say about moral values?

;)

Batman would have taken out the corrupted US government. And if Superman existed he would have taken him out as well with his wits because Superman is a hypocrite. (superman fans will want to take on me now )

Anybody ever think about how stupidly close the technologies required to basically make one's self a "batman", really are?

Aight, I'm calling it! Twenty-five years till we get a super-human team of black-ops, techno-enhanced "Batmen".

Superman is a wussy, definitely.

I prefer anti-heroes, like Spawn.

Superman over everybody else compined!
I like Superman because he is a textbook superHERO, nowadays he really is an exception, everybody else has some major issues or they "lurk" in the shadows. F*** that shit! I wan't my pure larger than life superhero who always does the right thing!

Well actually I like many other heros too also the dark ones, I just found Superman to be actually a breath of fresh air nowadays.

Batman taking out Superman... LOL:LOL: what a joke!

I really wonder what kind of people will discuss about batman and superman fixing US government?! What does this say about "biggest democratic country in the world" !? :p

I think India has that title.

Before this becomes an RPSC discussion, I would argue that perfect superheroes are, from the point of drama, boring.

While being overly gritty or gratuitously flawed is an excess I hope to see reduced, it usually gives story tellers more to work with, and readers more to relate to.

Superman can be made to be dramatically interesting, even if he remains a boy scout. The problem is giving something that serves as a counterbalance, something that allows for the kind of transcendance of adversity less powerful heroes go through.

I'd say Batman has an interesting status of being the most a human being can hope to be in comics without magic or super powers, but weak writing just gives him an all-powerful utility belt or some other deus ex machina contrivance that trumps being able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.

Man, me and you are in complete, utter understanding. Better yet, I enjoyed Sam and Twitch comics, which were a product of Spawn. Definitely my favorite series. Never have I been an avid comic book fan, but nowadays I enjoy The Goon.

I also never cared for the subpar artwork that went into the big name comics like X-men and Superman. McFarlane was fantastic.

Do way. Supe pwns Spawn! :p

Downside with superman though is that he has too many scruples. Batman isn't above roughing up a bad guy but bullets don't bounce off him.

Supes isn't so pure in the latest movie.. he's a regular sinner like the rest of us coveting his neighbor's wife.

He, like 95% of all Americans, also engaged in premarital sex.

I guess he does stand for truth, justice, and the American way.

I think he was trying to be consistent with three very difficult standards to live by.

Depending on which storyline you reference, Batman has a pretty iron-clad rule against killing people.

Considering how often the Joker gets out and kills thousands, repeatedly, it can only mean that Batman is decidedly anti-death penalty.

He also has to pay for his gadgets, so he's fiscally responsible.

He's got Robin, so rumor has it he's not necessarily anti-gay marriage/civil union. ;)

Batman also has a history of fighting villians with the ability to fight back, and not just the villians from previous superheroes' tenures.

Batman is also one cold SOB, so he may be atheist or violently agnostic.
He's also had premarital sex.
