Speaker setup help!

Hey dudes sorry if this is in the wrong section!

but i just purchased my brand new speakers (Logitech Z-5500 Digital:p ) and i am bit clueless when it comes to setting these puppys up

In the PS3 XMB sound settings it has number of options such as- pcm , AAC with number of mhz and DTS ....soo im not sure which one i should select and would be suitable for these speakers

help would be much appreciated

but could someone plz explain to me what these khz and pcm means

the ps3 sound xmb has the following options

DTS 5.1
AAC
Linear PCM 2 CH 88.2khz
Linear PCM 2 CH 176.4 khz
Linear PCM 2 CH 96 khz


....soo im not sure which one i should select and if the following formats are compatible with my speakers.

p.s will it damage my speakers if i choose a wrong format

Check them all, your new sound system supports all of them. But no, even if it didn't it wouldn't hurt anything to check them all, you just wouldn't hear anything from the ones that aren't supported.

but have to say these speakers are the most orgasmic sound my ears have ever had the pleasure of hearing :oops:

if you guys are looking into a new set of surround sound speakers you cant go wrong with these puppies

best surround sound kit ever imho :cool:
