Have you seen this slashdot article?
My first impression is that overhyping cell will only hurt it in the long run.

BTW, there's only a little mention of Java in there, and not that it's implemented in hardware.

That's what they stated. I wonder why they removed the article, though...maybe it'll come up next week after their databases have been synchronized.
