Simple, if dumb question...

We all know that xbox360 uses both wireless and wired controllers.
Well, as far as I'm aware, the wired controllers are USB and plug into the front USB ports on the console. Right?

Anyway, I'm just wondering if I could use one of my xbox1 controllers with the xbox-to-USB adapter that I use on my PC. Obviously the shoulder buttons wouldn't be where they're supposed to be, but it'd be cheaper than buying a bunch of extra 360 controllers.

Anyone got any idea if they'd work

If you've got the adapter there's no harm in giving it a go.

It'll either work or it won't. Just wondered if anybody's already tried it.

Picked my 360 up today.
Tried the xbox-usb adapter.
It doesn't work. LOL

I'm curious if a USB Hub which makes 4 ports out of two existing ones would work on the 360.
