Shadow of the Collosus is awesome

Sorry about the ignorance, but what did Ueda do before Ico? Cause really, these last 2 games he made are bloody masterpieces.
He was an art student, an Amiga fan, and a 3D CG animator at Warp (the company of notorious Kenji Eno). He worked on Enemy Zero. Then he entered SCEI (via the Yaroze amateur contest?) after Warp crashed in 1997. He's 35 yrs old now.

This is his homepage (the last update is in 2001 though!) with his early paintings etc.

What an amazingly origional game. This would make a cool movie imo.

Yes, it will be interesting to see as an epic movie.

I don't have a PS2, but I just saw the trailer in GTtv Review, and it does look pretty awesome. Imagine what the graphics will look like in PS3.

You visit the huge town, and interact with all the folks there. Most people can't find it, but when I found the town, it was amazing. ;)

You serious? I thought the game was empty apart from you and the Colossi.

Nope, and there you will be able to upgrade your sword to the uber "Masamune" sword with one hit kills. ;)

I haven't touched SOTC and RE4 since 2-3 days, simply don't have time (and also surprisingly I don;t feel like switching on my PS2 since I got my BB connection and hooked on UT online).

BTW, I would put GoW/RE4 on par with Ico/SOTC. They all are pathbreaking games.

Yay, let's hear it for Yaroze! Same way I got my job! BTW, he doesn't work for SCEI, he works for SCEJ (R&D3).
