The sad / good thing about RE8, is that it plays out almost like RE4. Right down to the merchant and that initial fight in the village.
I think Capcom knew they could gain more sales by copying the one game that the fanboys always praise the most. But it lacks creativity.
I thought RE8 was an okay game to play once, because at the time, it was fresh. Now having thought about it, the game was made to pander to the RE4 purists. Facts!
