Replacing PSU fan...

Well, just my second post, bear with me !

The story goes like this: I bought a "el cheapo" PSU and replaced its "el cheapo" fan for onw evercool (I know, evercool has pirated some desings from el cheapo too ). The problem is how loud this is at full speed. At the same time, I dont wanna put it in a fan bus in fear that the PSU might explode or something. So, without replacing the fan, do you think it would be safe to slow it down a little?

Yes, should be no problem. The Everflow fan at stock speed is almost certainly faster then the original PSU fan. And besides, even if you slow it down and it's slightly inadequate, I'm sure it will cause no problems.

But, what type of PSU is it? What wattage?

its suposedlly 450w, but I dont think it near that!
