quick corel draw question...

I imported a huge tif file into my corel draw file.
The size of the CDR file jumped from 1mb to 50mb.
I removed the tif, however, the cdr file size is still at 50mb.

How do I "compress" or remove garbage from a CDR file?

If it's the disk size that bothers you, with NTFS you can compress the file transparently. OTH, if cdr files work like that (like DBs), there may be an option to take care of it in the app ("compress", "optimize", or something).

If all else fails, try "Save As..." or similar but make sure you modify something first. You might get lucky... ;)

It might be leaving space in the file. If worse comes to worse select all the elements in the file cut and paste them into a new file.
