I know that vs topic aren't allow, but this interview contain a lot of interesting info

On the GPU

The X360 GPU is slightly more flexible due to the subtle differences between the respective architectures of the nVidia and ATI chipset. Certain shader restrictions are lifted or easier to work around on X360. The bandwidth of the X360 GPU is pretty massive too, though partly this is balanced out by the differences in VRAM layout of the two systems that means the Xbox needs to move graphics data around the system more than the PS3 does. While the GPUs are fast and have a big impact on the visual quality and level of game effects, other factors such as general processing power and memory architecture also come into play.

And lots of interesting info on the CELL. Too lazy to read the whole thing

Sorry if this is old

The article posted is brief and moderately interesting, although it summarizes some elements (programming, power of one gpu vs another...etc) that have been explained indepth in B3D. After reading the comments I noticed someone had mentioned a Gamespot article with screen comparisons of PS3 and 360 games. I've read the article though I get link it right now (due to being at work computer). I am interested in seeing why the cross-platform games differ the way they do and whether any B3Ders have any opinions on how differences may link to the respective system architectures and whether the screenshots are an example of now and only now or things to come:?: (<ex>: All shots indicate that 360 textures are well-defined and PS3 light sources look bright and bleeding. Please advise?)

The Cell is obviously not powerfull enough to support a user customizable gamma slider.

But seriously that subject has already been discused to death here:

And the originals posters topic/interview was already the topic of an older thread as well. And guess what... the thread got locked too.

LOL:LOL: I was wondering if what the hot screen on screen action was pointing to was a trend for the now and future for the respective systems, but looking at the other thread tells me seeking this info could get me burned. I'll leave this alone for now and see what the future holds.
