PS2 and RGB cable

I tried 2 different brand of cables, but both have tha same, little problem: switching from composite video (DVD mode) to RGB (GAME mode) the whole screen shift towards left..why?

btw, are you trying to play a ntsc game on a pal ps2 (modified) ?

No: PAL games on PAL PS2, all totally original.

Is it a big shift? Cause PAL games are slightly shifted to the left, by about half an inch on my TV too. Nothing major, and nothing that can't be corrected with a screen repositioning option...

Well, minor shift..but screen repositioning is not effective in all cases..and not all games provides screen repositioning.

If you own a medium-TV you can shift picture manually...Even stretch it...very useful for games without OVERSCAN such as Ridge Racer V.

LG 29' flat 50 hz, i'm not able to find any shift or stretch control in OSD.
