Which is not a surprise considering Xenos is more powerful than current desktop GPUs and 512MB of memory in a dedicated box allows for a lot of flexibility (streaming + take advantage of stuff like 3Dc for normal maps, which Prey uses a lot of).

so finally PCs will get 'watered' down versions of consoles atleast till 2007

I'm not sure I fathom how you figure that; "No cutbacks" (from a PC version) = the PC version...

You can walk on walls paths in the game.

The "white sided" paths are effectivel gravity paths, so in that particular image the guy at the back is the one on the "floor" whilst you are upsidedown.

I think that's more of a function of the engine its running on.

So thats kinda new in a Doom3 engine powered game isnt it? Daylight :oops: And what do ya know, it looks good.
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars looks better, IMO. And doesn't look too much like Doom 3, either.
