Free shipping, 10% off the $389 price knocks it down to $350, and it comes with a copy of Modern Warfare 2. I couldn't resist, probably sell my used GTX 285 for $100 knocking the upgrade cost down to $250.

Thought I'd point this out in case others have been sitting on the GPU ugprade fence for months too.

How about DX11 capabilities, plus how cool I'll think he is? :|

Congrats John, look forward to hearing how you like it.

That performance boost makes a big difference when you're running at 2560x1600. Plus the DX11 support.

Good thing I'm not on a PC gaming binge right now or I'd be tempted to toss it in with my other 5870 and go xfire. Too much work lately though.

Based on tracking, it should arrive on my doorstep sometime Friday. So I imagine Friday night after I get home from work. Gonna have to d/l the Dirt 2 and AvP demos.

Edit: And Steam has Dirt 2 for $10 right now.

Edit 2: Based on an hour of LOTRO, so far I'd say the reduced noise and heat alone are almost worth the upgrade. God, I didn't realize how loud that f'n 285 got under load.
