Okay in benchmarks a lot, you get the term, cardx is 10% faster/slower than card y.
I remember Anand posting a review a few months ago, which I dont remember which one, but he corrected the review to say, I believe, percent slower was a meaningless statement. Only percent faster was valid.
Ever since then I've been confused about it. Is percent slower a valid term?
I can see if you make card x speed=100%, and card y speed is 110% relative to card x, you can say card y is 10% faster correct?
If card y is 90% of card x, can you say cardy y is 10% slower than card x? Is that valid?
