PCI Express power connector?

I have an older 430w enermax psu and I want to upgrade my 6600gt to an 8800gts. the problem is that 8800gts requires a new 6 pin power connector that my psu does not have. is there some sort of converter I can get to remedy this problem?

yes, i beleive the card will actually come with one

I'm looking at buying one from an online store. an Inno3d model to be exact and it doesn't mention that it contains one in the package. Do you know what the name of the cable is so I can see where I can buy it from?

Yes, the cards will come with the power cable adapters just in-case, which will be a twin 4-pin molex to single 6-pin Y-adapter.

In case there's no warning anywhere about this:

Don't connect the Y-cable to two connectors on the SAME LEAD coming out of the power supply please.

Doing so might overload/overheat the 12V wire and lead to voltage dips and a crashy system or possibly damage to your hardware..
