Enormous amount of additional costs to fake everything though, driver issues etc.GPUs got so good at "faking" everything that RT enhancements don't offer that huge a noticeable overall improvement. It's not a gameplay enhancement unless you use shadows and light as part of the gameplay really though even those are easily faked too.
This BF5 demo is really cool though.

It does show a difference, but it is subtle and in movement is a bit pointless...

Likely human effect. People get so used faked scenes that look good but have no comparison to something significantly more accurate. They don’t see a big difference because they are used to seeing the fake. In reverse, if you are used to seeing a correct image, and then take away everything, it’s much more noticeable.What are you talking about guys? The difference is MASSIVE. Night and day.
