Only oddity is the mention of the 6200 series as having contributed to this success. I have yet to see this part shipping in any OEM systems, so how could it have materially impacted revenues over the last three months?

This is actually common practice when companies preannounce earnings or update guidance. Rarely do you hear specifics about net income, but you can reasonably derive them from revenues, margins, and expense estimates.
