PS3 seems to be doing relatively better in Canada. Probably because the new model moved them to price parity in Canada.

Yeah, the "price drop" was pretty big all things considered. All of a sudden we get this SKU that's $160 cheaper. Hard to resist for those waiting, I don't doubt.

Seems like I was the only one in Canada who bought PS3's "heavy hitting exclusives", Ratchet and Uncharted... (Finished and loved them both.)

The PS3's software line-up is seriously borked for yet another holiday season. The technically impressive exclusives are niche titles, and the mass appeal ones are technically mediocre ports that get PS3 owners mocked by their 360 neighbours.

i bought both R&C and Uncharted too. :smile:

the only one of Sony's "heavy hitting exclusives" that i would consider niche would be Heavenly Sword. theres a large audience for games like Uncharted, and R&C is a game everyone can enjoy... it just wasn't marketed very well imo (as were a lot of PS3 games). i've said this many times here, but it puzzles me why they're not selling better.
