No more attacking other people in threads

If you attack another person in a thread i will send your name up to get baned. Its as simple as that . If you want someone to shut up you prove them wrong with facts. Not things you make up and certianly not by calling them names. This forum is like being in 2nd grade again and it has to stop. We were doing so well lately . If you want to attack someone do it at ign forums or through pm. Because if its done here I will make sure your baned. I will not have it.



Also do not post in this thread about what people are doing. I don't want to hear it. Other than that responed to this in any other way you want.

The blue ray in ps3 thread was locked. I will be making another thread about it . THe convo will start off cival and stay that way.

Insulting someone while debating, like calling them a moron or giving them a petty label based on their tastes, is deconstuctive. It neither strengthens an argument nor supports its relevancy.

Chances for intelligent discussion here are getting undermined by console advocacy. Since when have we become so shallow as to define our beliefs through a brand name and not through our own considerable capacity for judgement? When we brush off logic or contradict ourselves in our support, taking it upon ourselves to excuse the shortcomings of our preferred brand name while demeaning the competition over our brand's successes, we become a tool of their marketing department.

Did you originally get involved in gaming to become a cheerleader, or was it to experience more of what first WOWed you about the hobby?

No, my post up there wasn't directed to a single person, just to any person who's trained their mind to filter what they interpret and contribute here along console allegiance lines. It's pathetic and has to stop before it spoils more opportunities for enlightening discussion.

It's bad enough to get out of line with advocacy, but some people throwing in personal attacks, too, shows weakness in their point and is unnecessary to begin with.
