Strange, its obviously working for you, and other people, but its not working for me or Cybamerc or a friend of mine that just tried to download the vids...

Yeah I know its not that long until its out. I just wanted the high res vids to convert to VCD for a massive Res Evil fan I know who doesn't even have a PC (but does have a DVD player) He still hasn't seen any video footage of the game yet.

I dunno about that. I'm giving serious consideration to importing the demo and I don't even like these kinds of games normally. There's just something about RE4 that's hard to resist.

I'm just about to pre-order the demo from Play-Asia. Can someone please tell me exactly which mag it comes in? I know its Famitsu, but which one exactly? One of my mates is going to order it for me with something else he's getting tonight to save postage. So I need to know ASAP.

I think the problem is when you are using "save link as" your web-browser is using "beyond3d.com" as referer and the IGN server denies you access to those files, because you are using a external link, not hosted on their site. It should work with your web browser, if you just copy'n'paste the links to a new, clean window/tab, then your web browser will most likely use the requested links as referer or leave it blank.

The referrer is not the problem, because others in this thread have reported that Save Target As works for them... so there

Although after reading your post I did have a closer look at the two Flashget reports posted here and noticed a key difference between the two:

I deleted my IE cookies and now the video's download in both Flashget and using save target as Try that Cybamerc.

Just dowloaded and watched those QuickTime movies. They're still pretty aweful quality to be honest (when full screen). I mean the first video is 2 mins 16 seconds long, totally blocky (when full screen) yet its 49MB!!...
