I spoke to a buddy of mine that is still at Retro Studios. They all saw the record and couldn't believe it. He said that he hasn't even been able to get 100% and certainly not that fast.
He also thought the guy that holds the record is a freak and needs to play some other games, lol

Anyway, can you ask him just how much of the sequence breaking was forseen/intended by the design team? Also, threaten that they will burn in hell eternally if they decide to stamp out any possibility of sequence breaking in the sequel
Sequence breaking = Getting items before you're supposed to be able to get them (e.g. picking up the first Missile Launcher Expansion before you have the rocket-launcher gives you the Rocket Launcher as well)
