Why is Namco making this game for the 360? They should have just saved some money and put in on the Xbox. Lets discuss why Namco isn't what it used to be.
 
This game looks like ass. The way i see is it this.

1. MS asks Namco for support.
2. Namco pledges support for 360
3. Namco only releases the crappiest ttitles they had in development on the 360.
4. Leaving all thier higher profile titles to PS3.

Imo, namco did the same thing last gen, with the exception of soul calibur, but then they went and made the new version (as crappy as it was) exclusive to PS2.

But no shadows are seen in these new pics and tires are very polygonized. I guess their estimation based on early devkits missed the real performance of Xbox 360.

some things I noticed.

-no shadows (as said above)
-repetitive textures (brick wall/tunnels pictures)
-water looks bad
-draw distance? or is that just fog in the tunnels?
-physics? http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/game/docs/20051222/fc09.jpg the box breaking apart doesnt feel next gen imo.
-reflections/lighting on the car...ew.
-jagged curbs...i know i know, nitpicking, but the curbs are like obtuse angles not actual curves where there is a turn.
-what happened to all those pedetrians? remember the "real city" type feel

God namco...please do not screw up tekken.
 
Holy crap this game looks awful. Are we sure these are new? They should be embarrassed to make a game that looks this bad on the 360. Plus, any game that has you destroying crates in a sewer HAS to be terrible.

Maybe they are making PSP version and mixup of screenshot occured. It is my crazy guess but sometimes anything can happen.
 
..I just can't possibly see them actually releasing a 360 game that looks like that.

Nobody, simply nobody, would buy it. Hell, nobody would buy that game on the Xbox. It's horrible. Awful. There aren't enough words for how bad that game looks, and I haven't been overly impressed with much of the "next gen" things I've seen so far.

But.. wow. That's just hideous. There must be a mistake somewhere. I don't see how those can even be 'early development' shots, because that game wouldn't sell on the Xbox or PS2!

This is the FCK of current gen (Style not quality). The game is called Ryu Go Gotaku and is for the PS2. I have more respect for this game than FCK.
 
Unless the gameplay is unworldly, this game could do more harm than good for X360 if its released in Japan. I dont know wtf they are thinking.

When I saw the first screenshots I was thinking to myself "Wow, that PSP game looks pretty crappy. I suppose maybe on a smallish screen it might look ok".

Then I saw it was for the 360. I wonder, why do they even bother posting screenshots that look like this?
