New Final Fantasy VII?

If anyone that knows Japanese can translate this flash site it would be greatly appreciated. I'm just curious to know what this is all about. It says something about Before Chrisis and that has got me a little interested. Thanks for all the help.

Also, what ar the latest rumorsin regards to a FF7 remake or sequel?

On further studying of the site it appears tis may be a new title that involves the Turks in a game. If that is the case then I'm a tad dissapointed. I want a new adventure starring Cloud and the members of FF7.

I want more with Cecil from FFIV, that game rocked hard, and it was made before Square started with those idiotic pointless sub-games in their RPGs too. Like, chocobo racing, WTF??? I'm out to save the world here, who the F cares about stupid chocobos?!

You are correct. It is actually set before the events of FF7:Advent Children, and is a mobile phone game in Japan - a Panasonic model, I think.

Upon further investigation there are three new games within the FF7 world. Dirge of Cerberus is starring Vincent Valentine and takes place three years after FF7 and one year after Advent Children.

Crisis Core seems to have no info available on it yet but that is the action RPG game within the world of FF7 for the PSP. This is really interesting.

As I understand, they are looking to the possibilities of a game involving the Turks and another as a Vincent-only vehicle , so I would imagine new info would involve one or the other.

WTF indeed!! The minigames rocked in FF7! All the items you could get from the different games in the casino etc. were one of the best parts in the game!

I'm a sucker for minigames though. Like the best minigame ever, the fishing game in Zelda OOT, i would've bought it as a full price game!

PS. I am mildly interested in a FF7 game. I need more info.

Don't really get it...if they've remade FF 1,2 for GBA and are looking to remake Chrono Trigger/ FF6 for the DS, why not a straight remake of FF7 for PSP? <shrugs>

A FF7 remake is a potential multi millions seller, the best thing for Square-Enix is to release a game based on the FF7 universe, in order to test the market or more exactly "to create the market" (In other words associate FF7 and PSP, in consumers minds), and then, when the instaled base is wide enough, release the FF7 port... Or another CGI movie based on FF7 world. :?

Personaly, i'm more eager to see a FF6 remake than a FF7, but well...
