It placed #4, which I think was okayish... but really haven't gotten any feedback. Well... feel free to judge. It's not anything purely genius. Just stuff that we do
Take the avi file if you dont have too powerful rig... otherwise go for the zipped html file instead!
edit: btw, I don't know a word of russian. All the Lenin theme was just a funny design idea that we came up with in a pub with few beers I should have credited babelfish...
edit 2: more details...
work name was "lenintro" maybe should have gone with that
and in case you're wondering, the torus is realtime too (unlike some suspected) but it's not a lot of work due to shockwave format. Even so, it isn't all animation... there are a few lines of lingo script too.
edit 3: The biggest flaw seems to be the music going out of sync on different kinds of machines. This came to me as a suprise. On my own pc the sound is on sync.
tip: reduce windows desktop to 800x600 for running this for better performance. The 800x600 was the showing resolution of the competition decided by organizers and the demo was thus designed to run with it
final edit:
Be sure to get the rest of assembly releases too in case you haven't already http://www.assembly.org/news/final-results/en
