Need a new pair of headsets

Broke my Plantronics GameCom 777 set the other night, apparently a bit of a design flaw since a lot of other users complain of the same problem. Either that or I have a fat head. I'm looking at spending $50-60 so throw some suggestions my way. I looked over Newegg and Amazon's inventories and nothing is really jumping out at me.

Well, Im myself waitng for the "PS3 - Wireless Stereo Headset" and some user reviews. seems to be a real nice kit from early (p)reviews, the only downside would be that theres no way to plug it into a headphone jack as its USB only - would like to be able to use it with my TV aswell (works with PS3 and PC though).
costs 100$/€ tho.

I know it's too late, but just for the record: I'd pony up an extra $20 and go with anything from SteelSeries Siberia v2 line (maybe except for the iPad ones). But I'm a SteelSeries fanboy so, yeah, carry on!

Im eyeing an SHB91000 now. has booth Bluetooth and wire.
Just gonna wait till its broadly available and the price taken a dive

What legitimate need is there for discrete soundcards these days? No games use any proprietary APIs anymore, and shit, vast majority of games in the past never did anyway.

I still have a PCI SoundBlaster <insert something here> card I bought early last decade that I use.

Ended up going with another Plantronics, will see how long this set lasts.

I've used it in the past, but I don't think I've reinstalled it since going with Win7 around Nov of 2010. Installing it now.

I just bought a new headset myself. I went with the Razer Carcharias. My friends use that set and they're super comfortable and they say the quality is great. The price isn't bad, too. Best Buy sells them for like 80 bucks.

Thats how I usually judge headphones
go for a known name, comfort (I use headphones exclusively) and build quality
