At least, what comes to my mind from this title, is that it has to do with him. I mean, really?... Why don't you go back to your other forum titles, instead of letting your nosieness, curiosity, whatever the case may be, lead you into this area of b3d? Facts do not need a backing character deconstruction to be valid. They stand on their own. (This is provided you care to join the discussion sans existentialism... we need not get into proving that facts in fact exist.)
Derek is a brazen braggart with a foul mouth and a bad attitude. This is a given. The mods should decide whether this is acceptable or not and act decisively. Either it is unacceptable, and he goes (as well as the rest of the foul-mouthed rabble), or it is fine, and anyone is allowed to act that way.
Otherwise we'll have a new rule: All animals are created equal, but some are more equal than others.
At which juncture we will know that B3D may be vendor impartial, but is forum poster biased (based upon whether that poster is deemed to have something to contribute or not by the powers that be.)
So which is it?
Is information about 3D technology of the greatest importance such that the level of civility may be compromized?
Or is the community atmosphere important such that loudmouthism is punishable by banning?
The unwashed masses await the judgement of the mods. Do I get to say "fuck" with reckless abandon, or are we obligated to observe some level of decorum?

I'd have to agree. I think Rev summed it up best when he said if you treat him with respect you'll get the same back.
After reading threw more posts than I care to remember, I can honestly say that I don't blame him for his attitude. Most of the 'opposing' posts have underlying negative attitudes and demorlaizing overtones that appear spitefull to even me - and I don't know or care about Derek.
How 'bout you all grow up?
PS. Although their were funny points - Fresh's razor and eyeball comment; or Derek's exorcism of ATI's drivers.
