Though I do remember reading an article that said that Rev would release in the spring, in Japan. The fall might be for the US.
It may have been a bs article (it was one of hundreds I read during the E3 masturbatory period), but it might make sense if that were the case with MP3. Gamestop may have misinterpreted the release date as a US release date. Or maybe it's an import date. I dunno.

Nope, it says "Platform: Revolution". Which brings up another interesting question: is "Revolution" the real name?

Whenever it does end up launching, you're confident in knowing that you're one of those that will receive it first.
For Gamestop though, it allows them to inflate their current quarter/year sales numbers via games that aren't even in existence yet. The industry tends to take small dips when the generations switch, and maybe this is Gamestop's way of smoothing out the transition financially.

I don't think they charge you until the game ships though, so they wouldn't be helped by it at all.

But to be doing it for a game that basically hasn't even been announced yet...
Fox5 said:Nintendo did show footage of it at e3 though, and called it metroid prime 3. So we at least know there is a sequel, rather than calling it something like "Metroid Next".

Oh ok gotcha.
I was on a vacation during E3 so missed out on it all, and haven't caught up yet to the exten I should have. Did it look good?
