The doctors say urine was formed in his bladder but absorbed thorugh the bladder walls. He claims he's been living like that for decades.
Going without food for ten days is not that remarkable (hell, Lemmy from Mötorhead has been living off of whiskey and cigarettes since the mid 70s), going without water is.
He of course has some source of nourishment, but it is still clear that his metabolism is running very low.

Errrmmmm no not really. It's actually the opposite. Going without water is possible, if one is eating something, because water can be processed out of the food itself. Going without food on the other hand, and only water, now that is remarkable and dangerous, because water cannot substitute in its own what we get from food, although the opposite is true.
Also, the fact that the urine was reabsorbed by the body (if it's true, which is hard to believe) tells us something about the amount of toxins in this man's body. Living like that for 10 years is pretty... umm... poisonous...
But maybe a doctor could explain this better...
