Kickstarter: Amplitude by Harmonix (PS3/PS4)

I personally don't have a whole lot of interest in this, but I thought I'd post it here in case people do, and were unaware of this project.

The short of it is, Harmonix has started a kickstarter for the old PS2 game, Amplitude. They're looking to raise $775k to help fund a PS3/PS4 remake. Sony owns the IP which is why it's a PS3/PS4 only game.

It started off slow, but surprisingly it seems very doable now. It's currently at $681k with 42 hours to go. There are incentives when you contribute. Details here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/harmonix/amplitude

They are almost there! Just 30000$ shy from the initial goal.

I can't donate to Kickstarter -no Paypal no deal for me, tried sometimes to no avail-, but I remember reading this news the other day where it says that Insomniac's CEO has donated 7500$ to this Kickstarter in particular days ago.

Yeah, looks like they're going to make it, less than 25000 to go. Even though I don't have much interest in the game (didn't play the original), I'm a big fan of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games, and it sounds like Harmonix really want to make it so I'm rooting for them. Didn't seem possible near the beginning but things really picked up over the last few days.

Same here, especially Rock Band was one of the best games I had in the previous generation, just before the sucktacular fallout of the whole genre.

I thought they wouldn't make it in the end, 3 days ago they were quite far from getting close to get the amount of money they need.
