What I think is kinda sick, is why is FOOTBALL considered less traumatic than having a boob pop out (with appropriate blurring) from such a distance.

Heres a sport, where the goal is to kill the adversary. There violence level is intense, the stars hardly admirable characters, theres routinely blood and injuries the like which make even me turn away.

Cussing, fighting, etc etc. Hell, I like football as much as the next guy, but lets put things in perspective.

I have issues with any parent that thinks the latter is fine, but not the boob.

IMHO, one of the fundimantal differences is that we all know what the Superbowl and game of Football entails. This allows parents to make the decision wrt having their children view it - for the reasons you stated.

This was fucked up because she took it upon herself to do something which wasn't sanctioned, wasn't right, and quite frankly was utterly disgusting. Whats sick is that she had such disregard for the countless children and parents who actually do inforce a moral code in their family; and did it for the selfish purpose of self-promotion. I have no problem with porn on TV, hell I don't care what you watch in your home. What I do care about is having the information to make decisions as to what's seen and not in my household. And her actions underminded the ability of parents and guardians to make these decisions; sure it's just a breast with nasty piercing, but what next? Can we get some penetration next time? Maybe a bj?

Not to mention she's utterly nasty looking.

I don't believe any remotely normal kid would be traumatised by that.

I think it's more some parent's that are in danger of getting some mental traumas by seeing some nakedness in tv. They just might start thinking about sex, and god knows what bad thoughts can come out of it in their minds! (especially if their sex-life is unsatisfactory)

We underestimate the kids intellect, they usually are capable to process things they see and feel, even better and more intuitively than many of us adults.
It's just too often, that the adult messes too much of that process, by overprotecting and twisting the kids conception of the world and what happens around him.

Get serious, this site is viewed in dozens of countries and by members of all ages and religious backgrounds. If there is something questionable that will be seen/read by following a link, then it is only appropriate to warn them. You and I might not see anything wrong with it, but who knows if someone else is offended by it. I guess i cant expect you to understand that, because this whole debate is basically the same thing.
