This SuperH processor is way overpowered compared to the MBX, which is meant to be coupled with rather anemic embedded CPUs; ARMs, Dragonballs etc to achieve an efficient whole.

MBX would hold this thing back.

Well Renesas (formerly Hitachi) have licensed MBX. But this CPU looks too power hungry to work in the sort of device MBX is aimed at. Although I suppose a low clocked version may work well...
